"To practice any art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow..." -Kurt Vonnegut
This statement, by one of my favorite authors, rings true on many levels. To me, practicing art both cultivates and releases the energy the soul thrives on. Art is about creation, connection and energy, and is powerful because it can evoke so many different reactions from both the artist and the viewer. It can inspire new ways of thinking, and even incite change. I've always been intrigued and inspired by nature, animals, humanity and that which connects us all.
I grew up in New York City, where I studied art at the Bridgeview School of Fine Art, followed by the Fine Art programs at Ithaca College and Complutense University of Madrid, where I had the privilege of experiencing the rich culture of art around Europe.
I have loved living in NY, exhibiting my art and embracing the opportunities there, and now I have relocated to Colorado for new experiences and inspiration.
