Hannah Rose Chavez is an artist who specializes in both animal paintings and human portraits, currently located in Summit County, Colorado.

Originally from New York City, Hannah had a love of art from a young age.  She experimented with her own drawing and painting techniques until she began taking art classes at the Bridgeview School of Fine Art, and continued on the get her BFA from Ithaca College.

Her love of nature was apparent from her earliest drawings, and she has since combined her passions for art and animals. She is currently focused on bringing awareness to issues surrounding animal welfare and wildlife conservation through art.

As a passionate animal activist, Hannah donates a percentage of her art proceeds to various animal welfare, rescue and conservation organizations.

The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake.
